The idea for the mashup was born yesterday while I was writing about Guitarra g. A quick try-out yesterday made me excited to workout the mashup idea in Ableton Live.

It’s been a while since I posted some now work online. This time a mashup I made a new weeks ago while playing at the Miller Time. I was trying out a house bootleg of a tango, which if very interesting since tango and house are not two things you expect to hear together in one track. Like if the combination of house and tango wasn’t weired enough I also started to play the acapella from Ron Caroll’s Walking down the street on top of that

A new mashup born on a saturday night while I was playing live. While I was playing Gregor Salto I got an idea in my head with the vocals from Jennifer Lopez. Unfortunately I didn’t had the acapella with me to test this out live, but the next day I went to my studio to start working on the idea.

This mashup from the Kings of Orange is a realy great combination. The large contrast between the two tracks and clips they used make it a funnt combination which eventually fits perfectly together.

There are many DJ/Producers colleges that make mashups in all kinds of styles and formats. mARKYbOY is one of those people who I recently met at an internet forum. He is very actively working on lots of mashup projects and with great results. He recently made a complete mashup of the latest album from Amy Winehouse.

A mashup with the huge rap hit Low from Flo Rida, that got a lot of success after the movie Step Up 2. During my vacation the track was played in every single bar the whole night long. Especially the “with the fur” is a catchy phrase.

A new mashup, but not from myself. This time it is the work of DJ/Producer and good friend OverSoft. During the production of a music mix that we were going to use under our vacation movie we spontaniously created the mashup: Robin S. VS. Steve Angello & Laidback Luke VS. Gelazer.

Another mashup using the acapella of the month, this time from last month August. As container track I choose a bootleg remix from Jaydee with Plastic dreams.

As promised a mashup with the acapella of the month July: Toni Braxton – Spanish guitar. I already made clear that is was going to be a mashup with Fedde Le Grand.
