Native Instruments Machine Studio
This morning I found an e-mail from Native Instruments announcing the new Machine Studio and hardware controller. I knew that Machine was transforming into more than just a groove box, and already had a lot of DAW features. Pioneer CDJ-2000

I love to use Ableton Live for loops and acapella snippets, all synced into a live set. With MIDI sync you can use the software with most DJ software like Traktor. Traktor got all kinds of new features over the last two years that cover a lot of the functionality from Ableton Live, so that sync has become less important and Serato has the Bridge. But like a lot of other DJs out there I prefer to use the Pioneer CDJ-2000 system. And that one doesn’t sync with Ableton Live…or does it?

Rekordbox 2.0.0
A lot of people are frustrated by the fact that the development of Rekordbox is going slow. Features request are on very low priority and bugs take a long time to get fixed. On top of that Pioneer is very reserved in handing out information giving the impression that they don’t have major plans for Rekordbox.
