Last Saturday I treaded myself on a nice 80’s & 90’s party in the Central Studio’s in Utrecht with Boney M. and Master Mixer Ben Liebrand. Lucky for me it seemed that a third DJ didn’t show up forcing the organization to let Ben spin 3 hours instead of 1,5.

Mowo VS. Fratty & Presti Feat. Sharon May Linn – Don’t go lose it baby is a awful cover of the original disco track from Hugh Masekela. The chorus sounds just like the original to keep it commercial. But the overall sound of the Radio and Club mix sounds like bear metal.

Last month Obama finally has become president for the United States of America. The speeches during his run for president reminded me sometimes back to the world famous freedom speech from Martin Luther King. That speech has been used many times in house tracks and live sets by DJs from all over the world and become a major legend. For me it is almost as secret as the Who is jack acapella, of which the lyrics form the constitution of house music.

I was trying out a house bootleg of a tango, which if very interesting since tango and house are not two things you expect to hear together in one track.
